Arrange for a night of good luck at home!
What to get...
Go to a local craft store and purchase a large quantity of pre-cut shamrocks or green construction paper to make your own. While you're are there see if they have green votive candles and clear votive candle holders. If they do not, get some white ones. You may want to pick up some wire shamrock garland if they have some for extra flair.
At the grocery store get a bottle of white wine or champagne, some of your favorite fruits and cheeses, two wine glasses and a comfy throw blanket.
At a home goods store, pick up a king size flat white sheet. This last ingredient isn't completely necessary, but it pulls together your coordinated theme. You could also use a green sheet as well.
What to do...
At a time your love isn't home, cut up any fruit or cheese you need to and prepare your shamrock cut-outs if you didn't purchase pre-made ones. Right before you show your surprise, place the votive candles and candle holders around the room. in various spots on the floor in the room. Make the bed and put the white sheet on top. Sprinkle your shamrocks to cover the entire bed. Sprinkle remaining cut-outs to cover the floor as well.
Set up the rest of your ingredients, a corkscrew, and a few napkins.
All that's left is to get your love and enjoy your time for two together.
